Music Tuition

At Howden Junior School, aside from our academic study offer, we also offer more bespoke opportunities to develop children’s musical abilities. In collaboration with peripatetic musicians. We offer violin, piano, flute and classical guitar lessons to all children across Keystage 2. We also offer Whole Class Ensemble Teaching: through our Charanga Music provision.

Children from across the school represent Howden in the Kaleidoscope Orchestra throughout the year.

As part of our Enrichment Curriculum, we run music centred after-school clubs on a rolling programme such as our choir – who this year will be invited to sing at Young Voices, Sheffield Arena.
