At Howden Junior School, aside from our academic study offer, we also offer more bespoke opportunities to develop children’s musical abilities. In collaboration with peripatetic musicians. We also offer Whole Class Ensemble Teaching: through our Charanga Music provision.

Children from across the school represent Howden in the Kaleidoscope Orchestra throughout the year.
As part of our Enrichment Curriculum, we run music centred after-school clubs on a rolling programme such as our choir.
